Specialised Fleet
Fraser Coast Drill Rigs
At Cheyenne Drilling, we bring a fleet of nine specialised drill rigs to every project across the Fraser Coast. Each rig is chosen for the conditions on your land, whether that means powering through basalt, managing sandy loam, or working in restricted spaces. By matching the right machine to the ground, we deliver consistent results without unnecessary delays.
Our equipment standards set us apart. Machine-slotted screens are used to boost water flow and reduce contamination, while galvanised headworks protect the top of the bore from damage long after drilling is complete.
With modern rigs, proven practices, and years of experience, Cheyenne Drilling ensures your bore is built to last.

How deep can your drill rigs go?
Our rigs are capable of drilling anything from shallow domestic bores to deep irrigation systems. Depth depends on local ground conditions and water tables, but with a fleet of nine rigs, we have the right equipment to meet a wide range of requirements, including projects reaching over 300 metres.
What happens to the material that comes out during drilling?
Drilling produces a mixture of soil, rock, and debris that is brought to the surface. Our team contains the material on site, usually in small mounds. It’s the property owner’s responsibility to remove or repurpose it, though we’ll guide you on safe disposal options.
Do your drill rigs work on rural and residential properties?
Yes. Cheyenne Drilling has rigs suited for both wide open paddocks and tighter suburban lots. We regularly service farms, acreage, and smaller residential blocks. By choosing the right rig for the job, we can work safely and effectively in almost any location without unnecessary disruption.
